6+ FACTORY

Overview

6+ Factory is a design exploration that rethinks the conventional image of industrial architecture. Rather than treating a factory as a purely utilitarian building, the proposal explores how industrial spaces can become more welcoming, recognisable and people-centred while maintaining operational efficiency.

Developed for an industrial lot in Jenjarom, the project challenges the perception that factories must appear closed, repetitive and visually detached from their surroundings. Instead, it positions the factory as the public face of a business, one that reflects the company’s identity, values and ambition.

Design Approach

Guided by six architectural principles, the proposal focuses on creating a stronger relationship between people, workplace and architecture, demonstrating that industrial buildings can contribute positively to both everyday working life and the surrounding environment.
